Vesnice Tiradentes (nazev znamena ten kdo trha zuby) se nachazi ve vnitrozemi nedaleko mesta Ouro Preto (Cerne zlato), kde se kdysi tezilo zlato. Diky zlatu bylo Ouro Preto tak bohate, ze v nem stoji pres 20 vesmes baroknich kostelu.

Tiradentes village (the name means the one who pulls teeths) is situated in the inland near Ouro Preto (black gold) town, where gold was mined in the past. Thanks to gold, Ouro Preto was so rich, that there are 20 mostly Baroque churches there.
